About me

I was born and raised in the North Carolina. I have lots of southern roots, but I’m not dumb. =)

I play trumpet, I’ve been playing for about 14 years. I went to college for Music Education back in 2008. I left school after 1 year and I haven’t played as much as I use to since then, but it’s still very important to me. Music has been a passion of mine my whole life.

I enjoy just about all genres of music. Partial to oldies and country music. You’ll find just about anything and almost all languages of music in my music library.

But country music has a special key to soul, and I’m not ashamed!

I enjoy crafting and if I think I can d.i.y anything and save money I will do it. I’m extremely frugal. I think Pinterest is one of the best sites in the world! 

I love sewing.

I’ve pursued a degree in Cosmetology. Hair and makeup is a serious passion of mine, I plan on finishing my degree after I have my baby and hopefully becoming a college instructor for Cosmetology in the future.

I love teaching people things. I feel like I’m very good at educating people and making sure they understand many different things. 

I also love photography.

My husband and I dated for 10 years before we got married. We are high school sweethearts and we met a band camp: PAUSE for your laughter and jokes.

He’s the love of my life and my best friend. I know with my whole heart God created us to be together. 

At this point in time {June 2015} I’m expecting our first child. A boy, due in September 2015. I’m so excited.

Being a mother is something I knew I was born to do. 

I’m a huge procrastinator and it makes me CRAZY! I try to be extremely organized but sometimes the lazy bone is strong.

I love reading and watching movies! I’d love to be a movie critic. I feel like it would be a dream job. 

I struggle every day with becoming a better Christian. I love the Lord and I want to be stronger in my faith. I’m not perfect and I know I’m on a journey. I know it is the most important thing in my life. 

I hate and don’t understand addictions that involve substance abuses. I hate cigarettes and people who think they HAVE to get drunk to have a good time. I can’t stand racism or ignorance. Living in the south is really hard because of all of those things.

I haven’t gone into serious detail about anything about myself because I feel this blog will be showing all of those topics many times. I just wanted to hit on some of the most important things in my life or about me.
